Choose how to open the infobox’s link

You can disable links on infoboxes or you can load a link in the same page or in a new page. To choose how to open the infobox’s link, do the following:

  1. Edit a map
  2. Open the widget “Progress Map Settings”.
  3. Click on the menu “Infobox settings”.
  4. Choose how to open the infoboxes links in the field “Post URL”.

Remove the infobox when the mouse leaves the marker

To remove an infobox when the mouse leaves the marker, do the following:

  1. Edit a map
  2. Open the widget “Progress Map Settings”.
  3. Click on the menu “Infobox settings”.
  4. In the field “Remove Infobox on mouseout?”, choose whether to remove or not an infobox when your mouse leaves a marker. This option works only when the Display event is “On marker click” or “On marker hover”. This option doesn’t work on touch devices!

 

Choose when to display the infobox

The plugin provides different ways to load/display infoboxes:

    1. On map load: This option will load all infoboxes once the map is fully loaded.
    2. On marker click: This option will load one infobox at time but only when you click on a marker and/or when you click on the related item of a marker in the carousel.
    3. On marker hover: This option will load one infobox at time but only when you hover over a marker and/or when you click on the related item of a marker in the carousel. This option doesn’t work on touch devices!
    4. By reaching a zoom level: This option will load the infobox(es) only when the map reaches a specific zoom level (e.g. 14).

To choose an option, do the following:

  1. Edit a map
  2. Open the widget “Progress Map Settings”.
  3. Click on the menu “Infobox settings”.
  4. Choose when to display infoboxes in the field “Display event”.

Set the infobox type

The plugin provides various styles/types of infoboxes to use on your map and three different ways to load/display them:

  1. On map load: This option will load all infoboxes once the map is fully loaded.
  2. On marker click: This option will load one infobox at time but only when you click on a marker and/or when you click on the related item of a marker in the carousel.
  3. On marker hover: This option will load one infobox at time but only when you hover over a marker and/or when you click on the related item of a marker in the carousel. This option doesn’t work on touch devices!

To add infoboxes to your map and to set the infobox type, do the following:

  1. Edit a map
  2. Open the widget “Progress Map Settings”.
  3. Click on the menu “Infobox settings”.
  4. Select the option “Yes” in the field “Show Infobox”.
  5. Select one of the available infobox types in the field “Infobox type”.
  6. Choose when to display infoboxes in the field “Display event”.
  7. In the field “Remove Infobox on mouseout?”, choose whether to remove or not an infobox when your mouse leaves a marker. This option works only when the Display event is “On marker click” or “On marker hover”. This option doesn’t work on touch devices!
  8. Choose how to open the infoboxes links in the field “Post URL”.
