Add directions to your map

To get start using the directions feature on your map, do the following:

  1. Edit your map
  2. Open the widget “Progress Map Settings”, scroll down and click on the menu “Directions Settings”.
  3. Select the option “Yes” in the field “Directions Search form option”.
  4. Choose the display status of the directions form by selecting an option in the field “Search form display status” #.
  5. Open the widget “Search form settings” and adjust the following option:
    • To change the placeholder of the starting point field, edit the text in the field “Starting point placeholder”.
    • To allow Geo-targeting on the search form, select the option “Yes” in the field “Allow Geo-targeting”. To deactivate it, select the option “No”.
    • Select the preferred unit system to use when displaying distance by selecting an option in the field “Distance unit”.
    • If necessary, change the title of the form buttons #
  6. Customize the starting point marker icon #
  7. Add the distance search to the directions form & adjust all its related settings #
  8. Customize the style of the routes #
  9. Change the icons of the form buttons # if you need to.
  10. Save your map settings
